Text Box: Similarity and Conformity
They’re dreams that will never come true without you

Similarity and conformity such as interchangeable parts between two mid size cars that’s made by different car producers, the two shall never meet in most cases unless you get involved.

If you consider the insurmountable factors in our lives that falls within this category of things that don’t work together, it would probably make you shrug at the barriers we would like to over come of this nature. We would maneuver through life much easier with a faster pace, due to the lack of complexities which are purposely built into our lives by opposing manufactories, who are struggling to assure that no other manufactory can make part to fit heir products. I’m not knocking the manufactories that do that either. Why? If you owned a product that the format and parts from other similar products would operate on. How much money would you make from your product, if people could go to any company and buy the supplies and parts to keep it functioning? That’s why we have “Paten” and “Copyright” laws. Who would manufacture anything they can’t make money from, due to a lack of laws?

I can imagine your next question: “So, why did you write this article if there is a reason for this situation?” The answer to that question is this: I believe there should be some allowances with some products, but there should be some protection in place to protect the companies involved. Take for comparison the High Density Television DVD disk formats, two different formats of DVD disks and players of this nature out there, made by two different manufactures. The opposing format will not function with components that will work with the other. Components such as CD player, DVD players, or any other electronic appliance designed to work with any one particular of the two High density DVD disks. At this time the two main conglomerates vying in this battle of formats are DVD manufactories. There are two large Cooperation already engaged in battle with each other to project their HD DVD disk format over the other, as the superior formats in the minds of the public as VHS video recorders did over Bata video recorders in the early 1980’s.

Who wants to buy a DVD player, or any other appliance to work with either one of those two High Density formats that won’t work with the other High density format? Who wants to buy a special High Density disk player, DVD disk player, or any other “High Density” media for just one of the High Density television viewing disk format. When you buy your supplies for your family’s entertainment needs, you want them to be applicable on every appliance that serve the identical needs, and every television set. I know many things are necessary to protect the companies from each other, but right now I am concern with the buying public. We are the ones who are paying the price, as long as we sit and take this type of treatments without complaining, we’ll always be taking it in the rear on every situation. If manufactures can’t sell their products because we won’t buy them, watch how fast they will start to work together and make changes the buying public can live with and accept. Don’t hesitate to let the sales people know why you’re not buying the product. I assure you the word will get back to the right ears and changes will come about. We’re the ones who end up holding the junk when the losing products go obsolete.
